......yes it has been way too long since we have updated our blog. i think it is time for a new computer. ours is 7 years old and it makes it hard for me to upload photos. i will try to put them in some sort of order but i can't promise anything.

our little family is doing fabulous!! brady is now 14 months old and running around everywhere. we are in escrow for our first house...very very exciting. hopefully it all works out :-) brady is just the light of our life. he has such a great personality and is still so happy. he says dada, momma, no, ball, cracker, nana, and some other little words that don't sound like anything but we know what he means. so please enjoy all the photos. i am going to start from his first birthday and go from there. the photos will probably be out of order but oh well :)

...i am so sorry. it has been way too long since i have posted anything. things have been a little busy over here. we moved into a new house in February and we are still unpacking things. oh how life changes when you have a beautiful baby. so i just wanted to post something because i got some great video of brady laughing at me making pig noises.

brady is now 9 months old. he has two teeth on the bottom and two teeth coming in on the top. he is moving like crazy but not crawling or walking yet...i am secretly thankful for that. he does say dada but he doesn't really know he is saying it. he ended up saying it on mother's day..perfect timing huh? he absolutely loves bella and sully. they make him so happy. ok, i promise to be better with blogging but i just had to get this video on there tonight. a baby's laugh is just so pure and sweet. i know you will enjoy it.

a couple of weeks ago brady and i went to my friend amber's baby shower. amber is having a little girl...doesn't she look awesome!! i can't wait to meet her little girl Stella in about 6 weeks.

amber's sister has taken up photography and took a bunch of photos of brady. her camera is awesome but brady would look cute no matter what camera was used :-)

wow...5 months. he is just the cutest thing in the world. he is changing so fast. he now sits in a highchair when we go to a restaraunt, eats oat cereal at night, screams at the top of his lungs...and most recently ROLLS OVER. yes he rolled completely over for the first time yesterday and scott got it all on video. scott is such a great daddy. he loves taking care of brady. it is funny how a baby changes you. scott was not really a morning person or such a calm person. he also hated quietness. brady has changed all of that. scott LOVES getting up with him in the morning. he never gets frustrated or upset with him and he loves putting some soft music in the background so brady can sleep. i am sooooo lucky to have scott as my husband and brady as my son. life doesn't get any better than this :-)

Rice Cereal

Brady had rice cereal for the first time yesterday. We thought that he would hate it but tried it anyways. He actually LOVED it and did so good eating it. It was so funny to watch. Hopefully this will help his sleep through the night. He was for a while but when i went back to work he likes to wake up a couple times during the night.

We had a lot of firsts this weekend. He also went in the shopping carriage all by himself yesterday. it was so much fun watching him and he loved it.

Brady just started laughing. just this morning i was killing a little bug with a towel and whacked it on the bed. when brady heard that he started laughing so hard. after realizing he was still laughing i had scott run and get the video camera. we caught a couple of good ones but the best were before the camera arrived. it was soo much fun

Brady's First Thanksgiving 2009

we had a wonderful thanksgiving. it was so much fun hanging out with friends and family and have a new baby. Brady loved being around so many people. he did a great job sleeping in his pack and play. there was so much yummy food and some delicious desserts. unfortunately i ended up drinking a little too much (thanks to Todd's homemade hard cider) so i was pretty much out by the end of the night. no more mixing cider and wine for me.

all and all i think it was one of our best thanksgivings yet....with the exception of last year because it was Ma's surprise 60th birthday so we had auntie claire, auntie paula, nana and my dad out as well.

we also celebrated Ma's birthday on wednesday. we had a nice day together just doing some errands with Brady. enjoyed a yummy lunch and then had cake and presents. i got a yummy carrot cake from costco...delicious. we all pitched in and bought her a new radio for her house...she loved it!! i didn't bring my camera that day so i don't have any pics of her birthday. check gina's facebook and they will be there for sure!

Brady is almost 3 months old. we can't believe how fast it is flying by. we try to capture all of his cute moments but there are just too many.

morgan had her third birthday this past week. i can't believe three years have already passed. she is the cutest little girl in the world. mom and dad bought her a kitchen so we all gave her pots, pans and food to go with it. she loves it so much. we had so much fun with her. one of her favorite gifts was the music card that gippa gave her. she became the dance dictator and was making us all dance to the music.

the saturday following her birthday she had a princess party. that was so much fun too. she was so adorable

scott and i took brady and momo to chuck e cheese's yesterday. we had so much fun playing all the games with momo. she was so good and she especially loved playing air hockey with scott. of course brady enjoyed all the noise and lights...it put him right to sleep.

momo go enough tickets to pick out two prizes. i kept asking her if she wanted a pink princess bracelet, a purple necklace etc. nope she wanted a purple snake and a stuffed baseball. those were the last two things i thought she would pick.

brady is now 2 months old. i can't believe how fast it went. he had his 2 month checkup today and he is 23 inches and 12.1 lbs. he also got 3 shots today. he did a lot better than i did. scott held him while i left the room. i could hear him scream when they were giving him the shots and of course i cried....shhh scott was holding the tears back himself. brady actually did better than us both. he only cried for about 30 seconds after his shots then fell asleep the whole way home. he is still sleeping right now....and yes in his crib.

we had a good night last night because he slept in his CRIB for 4 hours, not his cradle or in bed with momma. what a champ (i am talking about myself). i just kept the video monitor in bed with me and watched it like a movie. thank you patti-cakes for the monitor...it's a life savor :-)

we actually didn't do much on halloween. scott had to work but had the best costume EVER. brady was originally going to be a monkey but momma ordered the wrong size costume so we had to resort to a little bear. he only wore it for about 10 minutes. his mimi came over and played with brady while i handed out candy to the cute little kiddies.

i did get a chance to see my niece and nephews all dressed up....they all looked great!!

we all are still adjusting to life with brady. we are having so much fun with him. he had his one month checkup at the doctors and now weighs almost 11 lbs and is 22 inches long. that puts him above average for both height and weight. i am trying to put him on an eat/wake/sleep schedule but it hasn't been working out too good yet. last night he did sleep almost five hours which was great for both mom and brady.

dad and nana schlesinger have been out for the past week visiting. it has been nice to see them meet their grandson and great grandson for the first time.

papa joe came out for a visit a couple weeks ago. we had tons of fun and he called brady bright eyes the whole time. joe was so in love from the first time he saw brady. nana dipietro visited right after brady was born. unfortunately i don't have any photos of her visit. things were so crazy that we didn't even think of it.

i have been slacking on the blog...sorry things are a little crazy around here. i never realized how much a little human can eat, poop, spit up and pee all over the wall almost at the same time. we have visited the dr. 3 times already. the first was his one week checkup and the other two were for his eye and another thing us first time parents weren't too sure about. he now weighs 8 lbs. 12 oz. so he has almost gained a pound since he has been home. the doc says everything is working fine and he is a strong healthy boy. he is actually sometimes sleeping 4 hours at night. let's hope this lasts!!

Brady Ryan Currier 9/2/09

yes our precious little brady ryan was born on september 2, 2009 at 12:02 AM. he weighed 8 lbs and was 19 inches long. i don't even know where to begin and i have already welled up just thinking about his little journey into life.

first i just have to say that the love i have for brady is so overwhelming its hard to control my emotions just thinking of him. i now know how every parent feels for their child....including mine. this is one of the reasons we are on this earth and it is just so beautiful. i have also found a new love for my hubby, scott. just watching him with brady is the most amazing thing...he is already such a great daddy and so involved with everything. i don't know what i would ever do without him.

so the plan was for me to be induced on september 1st. we went to the hospital and received some medication to thin my cervix. i did start to experience some mild contractions when the medicine was administered but NOTHING compared to the real thing. by 10 AM my cervix had thinned so the doctor started the pitocin. i then began to feel much stronger contractions and we attempted to work on my breathing. the pain started to become unbearable and i wasn't even dilated yet so the nurse gave me some nubane to numb the pain. that worked for about five minutes. the pain was just increasing so they eventually gave me demerol. that definitely made me feel very funny and say some things that didn't make much sense. the demerol did help with the contractions for a short time and then the pain was back. i think by this time i was maybe 1 or 2 centimeters dilated....very frustrating. usually the doctor won't administer an epidural until around 4 cm but the pain was so bad eventually they gave in. the women couldn't find the correct place for the epidural so she ended up attempting seven different times in my back. i was about to knock this woman out and so was scott. finally it took and the epidural was a lifesaver for a little while. i was able to sleep through contractions and it was great.

i started feeling pain again so they had to give me more medicine and i was not dilating much at all. i eventually got to 4 or 5 and never any more. at every check the nurse said she could feel brady's head and it was starting to get swollen because it was pushing down on my pelvis and not fitting through the birth canal. after some debate and some conversations with the doctor we all decided that a c-section would be best. i finally went in for my surgery at 11:45 PM, about 24 hours since my admission. scott was by my side the whole entire time and was the best husband in the world. he held my hand through every contraction, helped me breathe, fed me ice chips and gave me all the love in the world. for the times that scott was away my mom was right by my side. she was so great to have there. she knew what i was going through and did so much to help me get through it.

the surgery was fine but i was a wreck....i had so much medication in me and i was just so scared and nervous. it was such a relief to see scott come in wearing his scrubs....and he looked so hot and i know that wasn't the medication :-) he was such a big help to me and talked me through all my nerves and everything. brady was then born at 12:02 AM now sharing the same birthday as my uncle Jimmy :-).

we came home from the hospital on friday night and are now adjusting to our new life. again, scott has been such a great daddy and i have been a nervous wreck. i know it will get better but you just don't want anything to hurt/harm one of the loves of your life.

brady is the perfect addition to our family and i can't wait to show him off to everyone. thank you to everyone for all your support, cards, gifts etc.

39 week belly

well here it is...my 39 week belly. this could be the last belly shot but i will try and take one final photo before brady arrives. i have been feeling good just a little tired and heavy. i can definitely tell brady is positioning himself because there is a lot more heaviness at the bottom of my belly. he is still moving around a lot and if the calculations are right he probably weighs around 8.6 lbs right now.

we got some good news at our last dr. visit. i am being induced on monday september 1st.!!!! that is very exciting news for me because i am DONE with being pregnant. luckily i have had a pretty easy pregnancy and have no stretch marks but at this point i am mentally done and ready to meet our little baby boy. we told our doc that we wanted to make sure that he delivered brady. we also told him that scott works an hour away at night so we were a little nervous that i would go into labor while he was at work. of course we were a little nervous but i mainly didn't want to go past my due date.

i ended up starting my maternity leave this week so it works out perfectly. i will be off for one week before brady gets here. just enough time to do all my last minute things and spend some quality time with my hubby. we realize that things are going to be very different around here so catching a movie, going out to dinner, sleeping in....yes we are doing it all now :)

i do get a little anxiety about it all as it nears. both about the labor and also about becoming a mommy. it is all so overwhelming but we can do it and have a great support group to help.

if i don't get another chance for a belly shot than the next photos will be of brady ryan currier :-)

38 week belly pics

well it is actually 2 days shy of 38 weeks but close enough in my book. please disregard the hair because my mom and i spent the day doing brady's room. scott had done a lot of the furniture stuff but then we purchased another dresser for all brady's clothes. my mom and i put everything away and took everything out of boxes. now we really feel that much more ready for brady's arrival. i still need to pack our hospital bag and get a few odds and ends....besides that, brady is welcome any day!!

i am thinking that he will come this next weekend only because scott is working all weekend and my mom, brother and sister-in-law are all going away camping so nobody will be around. no worries because scott can be home within 45 minutes....actually probably 30 minutes knowing him.

we have our next appointment this tuesday. not sure if we will hear anything new but i will be sure to let everyone know if we do.

37 week 3d ultrasound :-)

today scott and i had an ultrasound to check on brady....mainly to see his size and position. well EVERYTHING looks perfect!! his heart and brain developed fine and yes...he is still a boy. they took measurments to see how big he is and he is measuring at 7.3 lbs. we couldn't believe it!! she mentioned that i am measuring about 4 days earlier than my due date. if he stays in my belly until 40 weeks he could weigh 8.5-9 lbs.

things are going great for us. i am still feeling good and trying to prepare for his arrival. i did a lot of laundry in the sweet smelling dreft detergent. the only problem is we don't have enough space for all his cute outfits and blankets. guess we will be investing in another dresser.

so here are the photos from our ultrasound....i knew that i loved brady already but after seeing his chubby little cheeks it made my heart melt...scott's too. we are sooo looking forward to holding him for the first time...it is the only thing i can think about. i am not nervous just so anxious to see him.

36 weeks pregnant

hi all...i am now 36 weeks pregnant so i thought it was about time to post a new belly photo. my belly grows every day and i can feel brady rolling around in there all the time. we are very excited because we have an ultrsound scheduled for monday morning :-) we are hoping that our dr.'s office will give us a 3d one like they did last time. we haven't seen our little boy since i was around 20 weeks so i am sure he has changed a lot! we are very excited for his arrival and can't wait to meet him. the room is coming along and i finally bought my first big container of dreft (baby detergent) now i can wash all his newborn clothes, sheets and blankets. the next big step is to pack my hospital bag...yup i have been putting that one off for a while. once that is done i will feel very prepared for brady's debut.

it's funny because bella and sully always try to get in the photos when we do belly shots...you can see bella's little head in one of these photos.

scott and i are so very excited because we finally bought brady's crib and one dresser/changing table combo for his room. everyone always asks if we are ready and the first thing i think of is NO WAY!!! the room was still a spare bedroom. so within a week my amazing husband completely transformed the spare bedroom into brady's adorable nursery. it is definitely not finished yet but getting close. we went to le baby yesterday and picked out his crib and dresser. scott actually picked it out and it looks great! he also did a ton last night and it looks soooo cute. we went with a puppy theme and it is called "handsome puppy". we don't have anything on the walls yet and we probably won't do any painting because we are hoping to move into a new place. thanks to my hubby, our bedroom is set up with brady's cradle (the one that my brother and i used as a baby). i am officially 36 weeks pregnant and feel great that scott has done all of this to get ready for his arrival.

this past saturday my sister in law gina, my mom, my friend fran and my friend billie jo all gave me the cutest baby shower in the world!! they all worked so hard on every tiny little detail and made the day perfect!! i enjoyed every second of the day and can't thank them enough for everything they did....including gina rubbing my feet at the end of the day!!

it was soooo very special to see all of my close friends and family (obviously there are a few back east that were missed). brady received so many special gifts from everyone....he is already loved by everyone. i am a very lucky person to have such loving, caring and giving people in my life. it made me realize that having people in your life that mean the world to you makes you the richest and happiest person on earth....thank you everyone for being so kind, i love you all.

this was the sign in table when you walked in....yes the favors were many variations of chocolate covered pretzels that gina and billie jo hand dipped over a period of 12 hours

chantelle made this really yummy berry shortcake....it was delicious!

gina gave me this wicked cute diaper cake....it was made with a box of diapers (don't know how many that is yet but i am sure i will know soon), receiving blankets, decorations and a bottle of champagne in the middle...it is sooo cute i don't know if i will take it apart....well maybe for the champagne to celebrate Brady's arrival.

billie jo just whipped these up the morning of the shower...so cute and so yummy

this was a great idea and the cuttest thing. the girls made a cupcake tower and billie jo's mother in law made each individual puppy face for the cupcakes..so cute. the girls were so cute because they know that i LOVE icecream cake so they made the huge cupcake on top and it actually is an icecream cake cupcake. there was oreo cookie icecrem in the center of the cupcake. i couldn't believe it and it tastes soo friggen good.

here are a BUNCH of photos of me opening presents at the shower. since the shots were all candid my facial expressions are a little crazy. focus on the cute gifts i got....not the the faces i am making.

the first 8 photos are from Brady's auntie Liz....she sent tons of red sox and patriots stuff. of course i wish she could have been there to seem me open them but this will have to do for now. :-)

princess patti-cakes made this blanket for brady...it is perfect because one side is the patriots for football season and.........

33 weeks pregnant

i am now officially 33 weeks pregnant and still feel good. the days definitely get tougher and i get a lot more aches and pains as the days go on. nothing that is out of the ordinary though. i can tell i am carrying around some extra weight because the bottoms of my feel get very very sore. luckily i have such a great husband who rubs them at night.

brady is doing great. he is moving constantly and his little feet are always kicking me in my right side. it is still so strange to see his little body move around in my belly. we haven't done much for his room yet because we have our friend fran with us for a couple of weeks. actually we still don't have a crib so we couldn't get the room ready anyways.

i will start to post belly photos more frequently because i am sure i still have a lot of growing to do.

my first baby shower!!!

yesterday the three lovely ladies below threw me such a great baby shower!! i felt so special all day long. we had a potluck with tons of delicious food and very yummy desserts. it was so much fun because even some of the guys came :-)

the decorations were so cute and we even played two games. i got so many nice things from everyone...thank you!! what a fun day we had. lots of food, fun and laughs. can you believe we did it all during our lunch hour!!

fun game...you had to create as many words as possible out of brady's full name. i thought i would have an advantage because of all the crossword puzzles i do....didn't happen!

i wanted to share some pics we took tonight so everyone can see my growing belly....especially daddy since he is in Boston. i has been about 1 month since my last pregnancy post and i feel like my belly has definitely grown. things are still going great and i am feeling good. i have some minor hot sweaty flashes but that's pretty much it. i am sure those will get worse when the HEAT arrives.

scott and i started lamaze class and it is a lot of fun. it is definitely helping us prepare for little brady's arrival. we also had our hospital tour last week so we now know where to go when it's time. going to all these labor things made me realize that scott has a huge responsibility on delivery day.....lots and lots of things to remember and do. i know he will be great but i am kind of glad all i have to do is breath and push :-)

that's about it for now. we have a dr. appt on tuesday so if we find out anything worth sharing i will be sure to do so.

3 year anniversary

here are a few photos from our 3 year anniversary weekend. we went down to santa monica for the day. it was a nice day because it wasn't too hot. i can't believe we have been married for 3 years already....it truly has been the best 3 years of my life. scott's goal is to make it to 50 years so we only have 47 more to go :-)

we saw this cool tree that scott wanted to take pictures of...why not slap your pregnant wife in front to make it that much better!!

we definitely had a lot of fun that day. we are going to celebrate this weekend too since i wasn't feeling well on our actual anniversary. the traditional gift for your 3 year anniversary is leather...scott did great and got me this really cute pocketbook...i absolutely love it!!! i on the other hand am still shopping for his gift...he understands :-)

last weekend me, scott, bella and sully all went camping with todd, gina, morgan, jackson, bald jay and chantel in san clemente. it was the pups first time camping and what fun they had!! the only issue we had was one run in with 5-0 cuz scott had them off the leash playing around and sully eating through his leash twice! besides those three minor incidents, we all had a blast. scott and i slept in todd's tent with a king size blow up air mattress...thank god because i don't think i could have handled sleeping on a sleeping pad and we forgot pillows. the pups had a bed next to ours but of course they slept on the air mattress with us and not in their bed.

on saturday gina, scott, the kidlets, the pups and i took a walk to the beach. it was only about a mile and a half away so it wasn't to bad. gina let the "dog team" take the trailor for a quick ride. it is funny to see them pulling the kids up the hill.

when we got to the beach morgan wouldn't get out of the trailer....she doesn't really like the sand or the water. she thinks it's "too big for momo"

jackson braved the beach with us while scott was playing frisbee with the pups.

when we got back from the beach it was time for happy hour!! we had sooo much food and then there was the bottle of tequila. it was fun being pregnant and sober and watching everyone drink and get crazy. unfortunately the food and the tequila didn't mix too well for scott. that is all i am going to say about that :-)

a girl at work gave me this awesome ice cream ball that you toss around for 20 minutes and it makes such good ice cream....we had fun with that for a very short time......

....because someone wasn't there to catch the ball....yup it broke. momo didn't care...she still LOVED the ice cream.

25 weeks!!!!!

this wednesday marks 25 weeks of my pregnancy. things are still going great. i am feeling good and feel Brady move all the time now. it is so fun to just put my hands on my stomach and wait for him to wiggle around. it always puts a smile on my face.

well the red sox were in town again last week. scott went to two of the games and i went to the thursday day game. the game was a blast...even though we lost in the 12th inning. we went with our friends kevin and lindsay again. instead of scott shaving a "B" into his his, this time he actually got his well awaited "B" tattoo. he got it on his calf and i think it look awesome!!!

well this was my first mother's day celebration. we started the day by packing up our camp site because we went camping for the weekend. i will post our camping pics this weekend. it was so much fun celebrating becoming a mommy. scott and mommy d (chris and joe) got me a willow tree figurine of a pregnant woman. it was so cute and thoughtful. then we went over to t&g's to have lunch with all the mom's. it was such a fund day. than you for all my cute gifts!!

mom gave me manicure, pedicure gifts. she gave me the ped-egg which really worked and two different sets of OPI nail polish.

gina and i have been looking at these "teething blings" for a long time. they are so great for babies. they look like a nice pendant but it is actually a teething ring for your baby. i love it so much and will wear it all the time with brady. thank you!!

Sully's 2nd Birthday!!!

may 5th is was sully's 2nd birthday. of course we had to throw him a little party to honor his 2 years on this earth. we celebrated by making him a lovely two layer meat cake (or two hamburg patties). we sang to him and he shared his yummy cake with his sister bella!! happy birthday sully!!!

here is the birthday cake i made scott. he really wanted cream cheese frosting so it doesn't look that smooth. it was a first try so now when our baby boy turns 1, i will have some experience!!

4D ultasound photos

we had another ultrasound today. this one was performed by our dr. so they were able to measure our baby and make sure he is growing into a healthy baby boy!! it was such a great experience seeing all the measurements and pictures the technician was taking. she confirmed that he is definitely healthy!!! yippee!! he has all his parts....placed properly and working correctly. she was able to rule out spinal bifida and there were no signs of down syndrome. she was able to show us our baby in 4D!!! she gave us a bunch of photos of him in 4D. you can see his little nose and lips which i think look like scott's. he weighs about 1.2 lbs and everything is in proper alignment for me to have a natural delivery.

this is one of the shots that was taken not in 4D...he was moving a lot so it was hard for her to get a good shot

this is one of my favorites because you can almost see his whole body. he has the cord in his hands...weird huh?

Red Sox vs. Angels

scott and i were able to go to both saturday's and sunday's red sox game vs. the angels. of the two games we went to the sox won on saturday and lost on sunday. we bought really cheap tix for saturday's game and stood at the budweiser pavilion the whole time. my bro todd came with us to that game....fun fun!!!!! the best part was that scott got a "B" shaved in the back of his head for the games. it actually looked AWESOME! so many sox fans were taking pictures of his noodle all day long!

for sunday's game we went with our friends kevin and lindsay. it's funny because lindsay is also pregnant (26 weeks) with a little boy. it was so much fun hangin out with a fellow pregnant beauty :-)

we actually had really good seats for this game. we sat directly behind the first base foul pole. our section had way more sox fans than angel fans. unfortunately they still lost regardless of all our yelling and cheering.

wally the green monstah was out front. we actually met him at sonny mclean's last year. i can't imagine how hot he must be in that suit!

we finally had an ultrasound on Thursday and the results are in.....IT'S A BABY BOY!! we both were soooo excited to find out.....scott especially. we couldn't believe how he looked. we could see all of his tiny little features and it was so cute because he got the hicuups while the ultrasound was going on. he also had a big yawn that was captured. we were able to get a 10 minute DVD of the ultrasound but i haven't been able to upload it yet. once i figure it out i will put it on the blog. i also tried scanning the photos in but they were way too dark. i will see if gina can get the dvd on the blog for everyone to see.

i am now 17 weeks pregnant...yeah! today i had another dr. appt for some blood work to determine if the baby has down syndrome or other diseases/disabilities. the worst part was the weigh in :-) and the best part was hearing the baby's little heartbeat.
i have gained 8 lbs so far and my doctor said she would like me to gain a total of 20!! that means that i should only gain 12 more lbs. throughout the whole entire pregnancy....i'll try. the blood work was an experience because they had to do it 3 different times. they found a vein in each arm but nothing would come out. when the nurse took out the first needle blood squirted everywhere! it was down my arm....on the floor....everywhere! good thing i am a weird person and enjoy getting blood drawn. so finanlly a new "professional" blood taker had to come in and attemp to get my blood. well she opted for my wrist which was very odd but it worked. so now i have 3 bandaids and a slightly bruised wrist.

great news to share....we have an appointment for our next ultrasound. we are meeting with a genetic doctor so they can determine the health of our little baby. what is even more exciting is that we will (hopefully) find out the sex of the baby!!! i say hopefully because there is always a chance that the baby's position will hide their girl or boy parts. our appointment is scheduled for April 6th at 1 PM. i will be sure to keep you all posted!!!

i will finally post photos of my pregnant belly. i am now 13 1/2 weeks pregnant and feeling great. no sickness, no more exhaustion.....but still could cry at anything. here i am about a week after i found out i was pregnant......looking sexy right..lol!!

poor bella had 2 lumps on her back so we had to take her to the vet. we were nervous that they could be tumors but luckily they were only cysts and she got them both removed. she was such a good patient. the vet couldn't say enough kind things about her.

sully was very concerned when he saw his sister for the first time......

here are some photos of bella, post surgery :-( we will be heading back to the vet on friday so they can remove the staples.

i am still very new to this blogging thing. i wanted to post a photo of our other puppy sully in the same spot baby bella is in....oh well. here is a photo of our two puppies. bella marie is on the left and sully is on the right. we rescued sully from the boxer rescue shelter in LA in august. he has been such a delight to have. now beautiful bella has a best friend :-) our little family is almost complete.

i am now 11 weeks pregnant and our baby is just over 1 1/2 inches long and about the size of a fig. the baby's hands will soon open and close into fists, tiny tooth buds are beginning to appear under their gums. the baby is already busy kicking and stretching. i won't feel the baby's movements for another month or two — nor will i notice the hiccupping that may be happening now that their diaphragm is forming.

hi all....we are finally here!! we figured since half our friends and family live 3,000 miles away we should start updating them on our life. as you may or may not know we are having a baby!! we had our first ultrasound yesterday and it was so exciting. i am about 8 weeks pregnant now and we got to see the little hearbeat of baby currier. the baby is due around September 2nd and we both can't wait. so it's our first post so i will update it more this weekend. just wanted to scratch one of the things off my "to do" list.
